So far, my summer has been quite hectic. In the last 6 weeks, I have been at a camp or vacation for at least 3 days of each week. I think I have only been HOME without a camp all day a total of 10 days since June 1st. However, I only have one 3-day camp remaining and I'm looking forward to enjoying summertime! On the few days that I've had at home, we've done some fun things. I thought I'd post pictures of what we've been up to when I haven't been at the track meet, girls' camp, or in a gym.
I bought a Slip 'n' Slide for the kids to cool off on hot days. They've had a ton of fun with it!

One of our family favorite get-aways is to the clay hills about 10-15 miles from our home. We had a picnic there one night and spent time climbing all over the place. The kids LOVE going there!

The 4th of July was a lot of fun. We went to the parade in the morning, where the kids each went home with a huge loot. Then in the evening, we headed to the city park, where the kids played on the playground, participated in all kinds of kids races, had some dinner, and finished off the night with a great fireworks show. I love watching kids watch fireworks. I think their faces are better than the fireworks!

YOur 4th looks like you had a lot of fun. It makes me miss the Wyoming summer celebrations! There was no parade or fun small town activities here, and I was so sad! I'm sure your kids had a ball.
Taffy, I love your blog and I love those kids!! The pictures are adorable and I'm glad you finally got to slow down and enjoy your family for a fun-filled celebration weekend. Looks like they're having so much fun with the grass and water slide...what a fun mom you are. Anyway, see you on the 19th!
I love slip n slides how fun for the kids and adults alike. The pics are so cute. Sounds like you guys have had a busy summer. Summer always goes by so fast but it is a great time. Again love the pics.
Wow! You really have been busy!! It looks like you have had lots of fun between. The pictures are so cute! I love the one where they are laying out on the deck!!
I'm working out my schedule while I'm going to be up in Cokeville and wondered if one of those dates (Sep 1st through 6th) were going to work for you for a shoot or what you're thinkin'.
p.s. Slip-n-slides rule!

Thanks a bunch!
You're one busy mama!!! How fun! Sounds like you guys are having a fun summer!
We'll be getting in around 4:00 and the best time to take pictures is the last couple hours of the day so that will work out great.
If you have some places that mean something to you or you want to try we'll do that. Otherwise we'll start around 6:00 to give us time to scout out some good spots. There are plenty around Cokeville! I'm so excited.
Sounds like a good plan, Ashlie. I don't have anyplace in particular in mind. I'm sure you've got a better eye than I do for a good spot. We'll plan on 6pm.
