JAM

Today we made strawberry jam. Yum! This is what we started with.
There was a lot of teamwork going on. "Mariah, hand me a strawberry." "Mariah, don't EAT it!"
"Good girl. Now I'll put it in the blender."
Stir, stir, stir.
"Ah . . . now I can eat one. I'm happy. Can you tell?"

The finished product. (This won't last long, I'm sure.)

How fun! Aren't you glad you waited for Mylie to get home so she could help? Priceless pictures, especially the one of Mariah eating her strawberry. Precious!

I almost bought strawberries for jam the other day and then was honest with myself that I didn't have time to make it and instead bough a few cartoons to eat. ;) Love strawberry jam.

Yum!! I love strawberry jam. And I have to mention your new proactive, positive discipline program from a few posts ago--great idea! It looks like you'd better start saving for Lagoon. Your kids are so lucky to have great parents.
