Brady Joseph Micheli
Brady was born earlier this week, and has brought so much joy and excitement into our family. He weighed 8 lb. 3 oz, and was 21 inches long.
I wanted to have a natural, unmedicated labor and delivery this time around. I've actually always wanted to do that, but never fully committed to it or prepared for it the way that I needed to. This time I decided early and went into it whole-heartedly. Luckily, everything went really well, and I was able to have the birth experience that I had wanted to have. I was also grateful to have cousins and friends who had done this and I was able to talk to them and get so much good advice. Tony was so helpful, and it was a great experience.
Since coming home, I have had so much help! All three of the older kids just LOVE him and are always excited to help out. And they are actually old enough to be helpful! Mylie folded and put away all his laundry yesterday and cleaned the whole house, Mariah watered all my flowers, and Connor is a great babysitter and can't get enough of his new little brother.
So far, Brady has had trouble in the night, and Tony and I have had very little sleep (like 2-4 hours per night). I've never had a baby struggle so much. Hopefully we can get things figured out and the poor kid (and his parents) can start getting some sleep! This pic of Mariah this afternoon looks about like how we feel!
Luckily, he's totally adorable, which makes it so easy to not be upset with him. We love our new little guy!

So happy for you guys! I love the pic with all the kids kissing him. It looks just like my house. Its always bombard the baby time around here and I'm sure that is what you are experiencing. Good luck with the sleeping!
Congratulations! I love his name. It is hard to be so sleep deprived, I hope he starts sleeping better soon.
He is so adorable.
cute little boy! and just cute kids all around! I'm glad the experience went well and hope you guys can get some sleep! congratulations!
Congrats Taffy!! He is so cute! I'm glad you were able to have the experience you wanted. I know first-hand how hard it is to have a baby who struggles and the sleep deprivation involved. :(. I hope he settles into life (and sleep) soon for both your sakes!!!
What a sweet boy! Those older siblings sure look like they're over the moon! Hope you're getting a little more rest! Congratulations!
Congrats on the new arrival! And I'm glad you were able to have the birth experience you wanted. I'm jealous you have helpful kids, my only experience with older siblings has been trying to get them not to kill the baby with 'love'. Hope you get some sleep soon!
Congrats! I am so happy for you and your family. He is adorable!
Congratulations! We love baby boys at our house. I wish I could come and hold and love on him and let you take a long nap. Those first few weeks were always a tough adjustment for my babies too. I hope he starts sleeping better soon.
So happy to hear this news! He is just so adorable and it looks like his siblings think so, too! Hope the nights begin to go better for you, but like you said, it is hard to be very upset because they are just so cute! Congratulations!
